Cosmo Energy Holdings Receives “2025 Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure” from the Securities Analysts Association of Japan

Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Cosmo Energy Holdings” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has been selected as the highest-rated company in the energy category of the “2025 Awards for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure” presented by the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ). This is the first time that the Company has received the top honor in this category.

The Awards for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure were introduced in fiscal 1995 by SAAJ's Corporate Disclosure Study Group, with the aim of promoting and improving corporate information disclosure. This year marks the 31st edition of the Awards. During the selection process, securities analysts from each industry evaluate companies based on the following five review criteria:

1. Management’s commitment to investor relations, function of the company’s investor relations department, and the company’s basic stance on investor relations

2. Disclosure through investor meetings, interviews, and presentation materials, etc.

3. Fairness in disclosure

4. Disclosure of ESG-related information

5. Voluntary information disclosure based on the situation in each industry

For this year, companies were selected across 17 industries. Cosmo Energy Holdings was chosen as the highest-rated company in the energy category, which included 21 companies from the petroleum, mining, and electric power and gas sectors.

The Company, having defined enterprise value enhancement as the theme of its Seventh Consolidated Medium-Term Management Plan, has been consistently implementing initiatives to achieve this end, including adopting a three-pronged capital policy. The Company believes that its proactive engagement with capital markets contributed to its selection for this award.

Encouraged by this recognition, the Company will continue to engage in wide-ranging dialogue with investors and other stakeholders, while promoting the appropriate disclosure of management information.
