Cosmo Eco Power Concludes Virtual PPA with Secom ~Utilizing the Chuki Wind Farm in Wakayama Prefecture~

Cosmo Eco Power Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Cosmo Eco Power”), a subsidiary of Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “the Company”), has entered into a virtual Power Purchase Agreement¹ (PPA; hereafter, “the PPA”) with Secom Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Secom”), effective December 10, 2025.
The PPA covers the environmental value of renewable energy generated at Cosmo Eco Power’s Chuki Wind Farm (Wakayama Prefecture), which commenced commercial operations in April 2021. Through the PPA, Secom will procure this environmental value with additionality² and apply it to a portion of the electricity used in its business operations, becoming the first company in the security industry to enter into a virtual PPA utilizing wind power (as of December 2025, according to research conducted by the Company).
As a member of the Cosmo Energy Group, Cosmo Eco Power is working to expand the supply of renewable energy, with a focus on wind power generation, in order to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Going forward, it remains committed to strengthening cooperation with customers pursuing decarbonization, while contributing to the wider adoption of renewable energy and the development of local communities.
