Cosmo Oil Marketing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., announced that it has reached an agreement with SEVEN-ELEVEN JAPAN CO., LTD. to roll out a new hybrid format in which convenience stores will be opened at service stations.
This marks the Cosmo Energy Group’s first rollout of a hybrid format integrating a service station and a 7-Eleven outlet, with phased openings scheduled to begin this month. Through this initiative, the Group aims to develop service stations where customers can shop for food and daily necessities while refueling their vehicles, offering greater convenience and amenities, particularly for drivers.
In operating these hybrid service stations, the Cosmo Energy Group will work to enhance its product lineup to better reflect the needs of local communities, and will also explore joint campaigns that link refueling with shopping at 7-Eleven.
