Cosmo Oil Marketing Co., Ltd. (hereafter “the Company”), a subsidiary of Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce the introduction of renewable energy and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment at Cosmo Oil Co., Ltd.’s Research & Development Center in Satte City, Saitama Prefecture. This initiative is part of Cosmo Zero Carbon Solution¹, an integrated, solution-based service that supports the transition to a decarbonized society.
To help customers considering the use of Cosmo Zero Carbon Solution understand its benefits, the Company will engage in proposal-based business development in collaboration with partners specializing in optimal energy management and decarbonization. In this effort, the Research & Development Center will serve as a key communication hub. In addition, the Company will leverage the newly installed equipment to transition to zero-carbon electricity at the Research & Development Center and carry out a feasibility demonstration toward the building of a low-voltage energy management model.

Cosmo Zero Carbon Solution is a one-stop service that helps corporations and local governments introduce renewable energy and EVs, while also supporting their efficient use and energy-saving efforts. With the Research & Development Center serving as a key communication hub, the Company will step up its efforts to propose carbon-neutral products and promote their rollout at these organizations.
Going forward, the Company will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable future by promoting the adoption of renewable energy and EV-centered decarbonization solutions, helping corporations and local governments reduce their environmental impact.

■ About the Feasibility Demonstration
At the Research & Development Center, the Company will conduct a feasibility demonstration of an integrated energy solution, including the use of renewable energy-derived electricity, the introduction of EVs, efficient electricity management with storage batteries, energy-saving measures using an air-conditioning control system, and a power supply strategy in the event of a disaster. Through this effort, the Company aims to ensure optimal energy management at each stage of the electricity supply chain—Produce, Store, and Consume—while promoting mobility decarbonization and developing a low-voltage energy management model. The insights gained from this demonstration will help ensure the effective introduction and utilization of Cosmo Zero Carbon Solution.
