Cosmo Eco Power Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Cosmo Eco Power”), a subsidiary of Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., and Kyocera Corporation (hereafter, “Kyocera”) are pleased to announce that, effective March 3, 2026, they have signed a physical Power Purchase Agreement¹ (PPA; hereafter, “the PPA”) for electricity generated from wind power. This marks Kyocera’s first wind power-based physical PPA.

Under the PPA, Kyocera will receive electricity generated at Cosmo Eco Power's Chuki Wind Farm, which commenced commercial operations in April 2021, along with the associated environmental value, for use at its various facilities. As a result, Kyocera is expected to achieve an annual CO₂ emissions reduction of approximately 6,300 tons.

In conjunction with the PPA, the parties have also agreed that, starting in April 2026, Cosmo Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Cosmo Energy Solutions”), a Cosmo Energy Group company, will procure electricity generated by solar power assets owned and operated by Kyocera, as well as the associated environmental value.
